No matter your career aspirations, speaking multiple languages makes you an asset in the global marketplace. 布里奇沃特 State University’s Department of Global Languages and 文献 提供了 undergraduate language degrees that provide advanced Spanish, intermediate proficiency in multiple other languages and intercultural competency any employer would value.

BSU’s established language degree program boasts several concentrations, from our nationally recognized Spanish Secondary Education concentration to a BA in Spanish Early Childhood Education. You can also gain proficiency in Arabic, 葡萄牙语, Cape Verdean Language, 中国人, 法国, 意大利, 日本, Latin and Swahili.

Ideally located near Boston, where Spanish-language immersion opportunities abound, 布里奇沃特 affords language degree students unique opportunities, 如:

  • Learning from native speakers. 所有教师 teaching in our global languages and literatures programs hold PhDs and actively research and publish in literature, linguistics and culture. Our multicultural professors include experts in Latin American literature and culture, Spanish and 葡萄牙语 linguistics and 日本 studies.
  • Studying abroad. Choose from dozens of study abroad experiences. We offer multiple scholarships to our language degree students, ranging from $500 to $2,500.
  • Deepening your studies. Join faculty and students to discuss in-depth language degree topics in our Humanities Lounge.
